BSOD, random even when sitting idle.

Hello, I would first like to say that I have been trying to fix this error for sometime now. I have been building computers for at least 3-4 years now and never had this problem. I bought parts to build a pc for my girlfriend (parts list down below). Put it together like I normally would and then proceeded to install all updates and drivers. About 20 mins in I get a blue screen, I had not enabled mini dump at the time. So the blue screen did not get logged. I thought nothing of it and continued to do my thing.

After doing that many more occurred. My girlfriend being very picky, asked if i could return all the parts and get a replacement, so trying to please her I sent them all back, the only parts i did not send back were the SSD and 2 TB hard drive, as well as the wireless adapter. Got all the parts back again and I am once again, after reformatting the hard drive and SSD and doing a fresh install of windows getting blue screens again, but not as frequent. I have only got 2-3 so far.

Also I did some poking around, I was looking through my Device manager and I saw a yellow mark next to it "PCI simple communications controller" I looked into it and saw that I needed to up date my chipset driver. I downloaded the Chipset driver and intel management engine and the yellow mark went away. I also got all the updated drivers from Asus as well. I also read on a forum that the newer the mobo/chipset is, the more it will relay on the driver. I'm not sure if that was what was causing my blue screen. can someone verify this info?
