If you use alcohol, use a high purity one, and a coffee filter (lint free). The stuff ICit2lol recommended is good stuff.

Sorry for a late response but I was testing to see how long my computer would last and it works great after re-applying thermal paste. But... now I have another issue where I left my computer on sleep mode for 1 hour and left the house to pick up my younger brother and when I came back the computer stopped working and it said I needed to replace my hard drive but i'm not sure what hard drive to get. Here are the error codes:
    Stop: 0x000000ED
    Error: 0x8007045D
    and here are my specs:
    CPU: Dual-Core CPU E5800 @ 3.20GHz
    Motherboard: FOXCONN 2A8C (CPU 1)
    Motherboard chipset: Intel 641 (eaglelake) + ICH7
    Memory: 4.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 399MHz (6-6-6-15)
Storage: 931GB Seagate ST31000340NS ATA Device (SATA)
Video Card: 1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series (Diamond)
    Case: HP Pavillion p6744y
    Power Supply: Seasonic MX12II 520W 80+ Bronze
Optical Drive: hp DVD A DH16ABLH ATA Device
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1

Please send me some solutions or links please would help alot.

Can you boot into BIOS and go to Boot Options and see if your hard drive is listed? You may also be able to look under sata configuration and most of the time, the hard drives and ports are listed.
