The BSOD reports it is caused by CPUz. That is not very expected. Do you have CPUz installed? Then uninstall it and install a fresh downloaded copy from CPUID's website. CPU-Z CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reportingCode:fffff801`c742a000 fffff801`c7433000 cpuz136_x64 T (no symbols) Loaded symbol image file: cpuz136_x64.sys Image path: \??\C:\Users\esf\AppData\Local\Temp\cpuz136\cpuz136_x64.sys Image name: cpuz136_x64.sys Timestamp: Wed Oct 09 17:44:08 2013 (52554890) CheckSum: 000086F1 ImageSize: 00009000 Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
But, the fact is, it should not be right path for CPUz.
It should not run from temp. So it smells bad. It looks like a malware is trying to disguise under a known name.Code:Image path: \??\C:\Users\esf\AppData\Local\Temp\cpuz136\cpuz136_x64.sys
Clean up the temp folder. CCleaner is the best deal to do it. Install it and run it.
Then, in order to be sure, scan the system for possible virus infection with the following programs.
Let us know the result.
