    BSOD while Shut down, error Driver Power State Failure


    Blue Screen viewer points at ndis.sys and ntoskrnl.exe as culprits.

    OS: Windows 8.1 32-bit.

    sfc /scannow -> clean

    Can you update the realtek network driver?

    As I dont use windows 8, I am not very aware of the source of it, but you may search for Compaq drivers.
