Bad news... still getting crashes.... still don't have dump reports...

Ran seagate tools again and the one that was having problems passed.

Phrozt, may I make a suggestion. Unplug the power wire from that hard drive and start up the computer and see if you still have problems. Just be sure to shut the computer off first. That will tell us whether that drive is the problem or not.

You're welcome, my friend. I just hope it helps. It should rule the hard drive in or out as his problem.

Well I have bad news. The crashes are occurring multiple times a day now. I keep running seagate long tests, and all drives always pass. The difference here is that I'm NOT getting the BSOD with the crashes, just a complete system lock up.

It IS still related to the internet going down though. If my comp crashes, the router goes down as well... or possibly vice versa.

I have not yet taken the big hard drive offline, and I can definitely try that, but because it keeps passing the test and has no important system files on it, I really don't think that would be the issue...

When you uploaded the data last time, it reported some massive disc errors.
    Code:
    ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc000009d - STATUS_DEVICE_NOT_CONNECTED

DISK_HARDWARE_ERROR: There was error with disk hardware
    Code:
WARNING: !chkimg output was truncated to 50 lines. Invoke !chkimg without '-lo [num_lines]' to view entire output.
    3600 errors : !Ntfs (fffff880016f4000-fffff880016f4fff)
As per your post #9 those errors are rectified. So it is not to be worried about it.

Now, a system lockup may occur due to a lot of reasons, and generally we deal with BSOD issues in this section of the forums.

But you still have some old problematic drivers like that of the HD Pro Webcam C920 one. The driver caused BSODs earlier, but still unaltered there.
    Code:
    BugCheck 1000007E, {ffffffffc0000005, fffff88013d4af86, fffff88009d66758, fffff88009d65fb0}

    Probably caused by : lvrs64.sys ( lvrs64+2f86 )

    Followup: MachineOwner
    ---------
    Code:
        Image name: lvrs64.sys
        Timestamp: Thu Dec 15 10:43:30 2011
There is an update to it in Support + Downloads: HD Pro Webcam C920 - Logitech ... get it and apply it.

Let us know how it runs.

Just grabbed those latest drivers and installed them.. we'll see. I hardly ever use my web cam though, so I'm not so sure that's the issue. Also, not sure if you saw in my first post, but this crash is still being accompanied by the quarter second of sound looping when it locks up. It's odd that everything freezes, but the audio still plays that quarter second over and over again.

EDIT: Per forum rules, should I move/recreate this in another section?

    Yep.. still crashing...

Crashed once normally, then once during startup, so I'm running startup repair.

For a crash without BSOD, the first thing will be to re-seat the copmuter.

That is what I did first before I created this thread several weeks ago.

Also switched around all memory down to one stick on each.. same problem persisted.
    Also cleaned the entire case.
