Windows 7 HB, BSOD STOP 0x0000007A

Whenever I open StrongDC software (file sharing on direct connection, same as DC, ApexDC), my system freezes and reboots with 0x0000007A error. I tried reinstalling software, updating drivers, virus malware checking. Nothing worked.

I have attached Log Collector file here.

For troubleshooting a stop 0x0000007A, some more things are required.

    Click on button below ....

It will download the DM log collector. Right click on the application and run as administrator. It will generate a .zip file on your desktop. Upload the .zip.

It does not contain all the necessary files to troubleshoot your issue.

    Code:
Error code: (NTSTATUS) 0xc00000b5 (3221225653) - {Device Timeout} The specified I/O operation on %hs was not completed before the time-out period expired.
Your file sharing program is causing timeout to some device? Bit of strange.

Update the driver to your network adapter.
    RT539x PCIe - MediaTek

Open the laptop and check if all the attached hardware are properly seated. Was it ever dropped or something?

Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

    1. Click on the Start button
    2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
    3. Select the “Startup” tab.
    4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus and the touchpad driver.
    5. Apply > OK
    6. Accept then restart.

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Daemon Tools at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

    • Double click to open it.
    • Click this button only:
    • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.

    Let us know the results.

Yes, my file sharing software is causing this proble. Whenever I run StrongDC, windows explorer stops working, system freezes and reboots with 0x0000007A error after some time.

How do I update RT539x PCIe - MediaTek to my network adapter?

    I have disabled startup processes.

    I have unintalled SPTD

    Problem is still not solved.

Fill up the fields and fubmit the form. I guess they will reply you with the process.

When done, let us see any further BSODs.
