    BSOD after leaving PC idle

    Hi,

Looking for some help with a BSOD problem. This happens when the PC is left idle. It's happened on two occasions.

Attached are two minidump files (zipped).

    Thanks.

    Hi elainew.

Uninstall McAfee Using McAfee Removal Tool. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.

    Let us know the result.

Thanks for your reply - much appreciated.

Once I've uninstalled McAfee and MBAM to free I assume it's just a case of then wait and see if there are no more BSODs? Or do I need to run any tests?

I would suggest you to wait. McAfee can cause all sort of issues at its own.
