Great news. I am very happy you solved your problem. I agree. You can buy cheap boards and they will work OK sometimes, but a quality one and they are very good. Congratulations, very well done.
Thanks. And thanks for your guide through.
Any time. I hope I helped a little. If you have any further problems, post here in this thread and I will be notified. We're open 24/7, so post any time.
Sooo, here we go again. First of all, i uploaded the owing pictures:
Next: A few days ago, after running fine for a pretty long time, my computer started to completely freeze while i was playing Dota 2. No sound blurriness or something like that at all just no response anyhow, so i have to manually turn it off by pressing the power button for some seconds. I played some Skyrim on max settings after that and i worked very fine somehow. Back then i blamed a corrupt Dota 2 for the freezing. But later i also tried GRID Autosport because i thought it will bring my pc to it's limits more likely. And it frooze there as well.
How does it happen:
1. I can do everthing on the Desktop and browse the Internet, watch Videos ...
2. No stuttering or BSOD's at any time since i have the new mainboard
3. When im playing Dota 2, it feels less fluently then it did before - tested it witf FRAPS and i had only 30-40 fps while i got 60 all the time before it frooze the first time.
4. After playing a few minutes or sometimes even half an hour of Dota 2 the displays freezes and i am not able to do anything. Not sound dropouts, the sound is just gone.
5. In GRID Autosport the freezing occurs after like 3 seconds when i'm running the benchmark ingame, haven't tested any further games since i believe now it's not Dota 2 related but either soft- or hardware.
What i've done so far:
1. Clean reinstall of latest verified videodrivers (registry clean, driversweeper in safemode, etc...)
2. Uninstalled Avria Antivir Pro
3. 6 passed Memtest86+ runs without errors
4. Reset motherboard to optimal settings
5. Disabled all overclocking options CPU and GPU wise
6. Reinstalled Steam and Dota 2 completely
7. Ran sfc /scannow multiple times (first time it found something called log something something and repaired it, since then nothing)
8. Ran chkdsk multiple times and it finishes without showing errors
9. Defragged the SSD
10.Installed latest network drivers
11. Checked dxdiag and found nothing
12. Ran furmark GPU stress test for half an hour while bringing my pc to its limits and additionally also the CPU burner, while furmark was running -> no freezing, max temperature was 70 degrees celsius. CPU temperature never goes beyond 50 degrees while playing
All this didn't change a thing or show me where the freezing is coming from. The games are still crashing and i have no idea what i can do furthermore.
Thanks in advance
Not still but again. You asked me to post here if i have problems again. See post #77
But lets see i am playing right now and it feels like if its fluent again
