Frequent BSOD on Custom Build
Hi all.
I am currently experiencing very frequent BSOD with PC I built recently and I'm stumped with the problems at the moment. I've built a number of PC's in my time and never had such repetitive issues. My home PC's are all custom builds and don't cause me such issues however they are on different hardware.
This PC is a recording server for an IP CCTV system which was thoroughly tested prior to installation on site;
Memtest86+ for 27 hours and 23 passes
AIDA64 132 Hours
SeaTools tests on drives
The specification is as follows;
MB: Asus Z87-PRO
CPU: Intel i7-4770K
HSF: Arctic Freezer 7 Pro
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro Blue 8GB
PSU: Corsair CS650M
OS-HDD: 2 x Sandisk X110 64GB (RAID1)
HDD: 3 x Seagate SV35 2TB (JBOD)
OPT: Samsung SH-224DB/BBE
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit SP1 with all current Windows Updates installed
The BIOS settings are Optimized Defaults, there is no overclocking in place and no Asus utilities running. Its a stock setup with the CCTV software loaded. All the drivers are as supplied with the motherboard and updated if Windows Update has detected an update.
I've experienced 27 crashes over the last few weeks all reporting minimal information with the vagueness of the hall.dll error. Temperatures are within reasonable limits and are steady at around 55 degrees under normal load, the load on the system is generally fixed as it works 24/7 recording images and displaying them on the monitor.
As the system passed all of its stress tests the system is now in use and it'd be difficult for me to make major changes such as re-installing windows but if its really needed I'll have to see what I can do. I've attached the DM logs and hopefully the culprit can be identified. Please let me know if you need any more info from me.
