BSOD playing games, bug check code 0x00000116

    Hello,

Recently I've been suffering from BSODs whenever I attempt to play a game. This will happen sometimes within moments of launch or after half an hour or so.

Using blue screen viewer it seems to point to the DirectX Graphics Kernel, however despite completely reinstalling the drivers it hasn't appeared to have solved the problem.

I've followed the instructions to use the DM Log Collector and have uploaded the zip. Can anyone help me? Thank you!

*edit* Also I've cleaned my fans recently which hasn't solved the problem, so it's not overheating.
*edit 2* Graphics card is Nvidia Geforce GT 635M

I have done so previously, I've also reinstalled the graphics drivers completely (installing the latest updates). Sadly the crashes still occurred afterwards.

Please can you tell me the graphics card you have.

Also norton/AVG is know for causing BSOD's on windows 7.

It may not have caused this one, but just so you know....

If you would like to change it here is a list of Trusted Anti-virus's:

Thats strange because this is defiantly the driver that needs updating: NVIDIA Graphics filter driver.

Did you remove the old driver?
