Windows 7: BSOD while watching stream

23 Sep 2014   #11

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Hello i am extremely sorry for not replying.

Lets get this sorted for you now!

Okay so this BSOD:

Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

BugCheck 116, {fffffa8008276410, fffff88003b3bebc, ffffffffc0000001, 3}

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for atikmpag.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for atikmpag.sys
Probably caused by : atikmpag.sys ( atikmpag+6ebc )

Followup: MachineOwner
So it is still blaming you Graphics Card Driver, after more analyzing:

0: kd> lmvm atikmpag
start end module name
fffff880`03b35000 fffff880`03b80000 atikmpag T (no symbols)

If you look at the Section i have made red, we can see that it is trying to use a driver from 2010.

You mentioned that you have installed the latest driver, did you remove the old ones?

I recommend that you remove everything to do with your graphics card and try to install the new drivers.

That's not what I said at all. I've never removed or installed/re-installed anything.

I said at least a couple of times in this thread that what I did was the "device manager - update driver" check and it said that I "already HAD the latest driver installed". The 2010 driver version you referenced in my crash info.

Then I went to and downloaded their "AMD Driver Autodetect" device/search tool. It's supposed to check my gpu for driver updates. It also said "you have the latest driver version for your system". The 2010 version you referenced again.

I then manually searched for "ATI Radeon HD 4200" with windows 7 64 bit and found these 2 things listed:

Catalyst Software Suite 153 MB 13.9 10/15/2013 Download

Package contains the following graphics drivers and dependent/required software for the products specified in the current version's official release notes for the 64 bit version of Windows Vista and Windows 7:
Display Driver ver.
OpenCL(tm) Driver 10.0.937.2
Catalyst Control Center 2013.0429.2312.39747
Czech, Danish, German, Greek, US English, Spanish, Finnish, French, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified)

HydraVision Package 25.5 MB 13.1 1/21/2013 Download

Package Includes:
HydraVision for Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows8. Requires that AMD Catalyst Control Center (listed above) be installed. .

Hydrovision (upon googling) is for multiple monitors or something like that so that leaves only the "Catalyst Software Suite". It's from 2013 but I don't know why their own " amd auto detect device" didn't list it when I used it.
What do you think.

Thanks in advance.
