    BSOD 0x116 can't start windows

Hello all, glad to be a new member of this forum thou not glad about the actual reason. Basically, I accidentally left my laptop running a game all night last night, my bad (I think I'll mention several "my bad"s in this post). When I woke up I noticed it was on so I opened the lid and the screen was not turning on, thou every other light on the laptop indicated it was on. I forced it to turn off and turned it back on, but my screen would still stay off while everything else seemed on. I pluged my laptop to my desktop monitor, which allowed me to see the infamous 0x116 BSOD, even before anything else was shown in my screen, not even the "windows is starting" thingy. So basically I can't get dump files or run the programs listed in the "how to post" post, I can't try to go safe mode (F8 won't do a thing), and I can't think much else to try.

Tested possible solutions and additional information:

    -2 year old laptop.
-It had been a while since the last time I cleaned my laptop, it was pretty dusty (my bad). I cleaned it through, nothing changed.
-I have never restored the windows installation, it's [was?] running the original stock installation. (also my bad, probably)
-No changes were made, in either software or hardware.
-Can't rule out them filthy viruses, I download a lot of things from a lot of sources.

    Laptop details:

    -Brand Name HP
    -Series Envy
    -Item model number Envy 17-3290NR
-Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    -Processor 2.3 GHz Core i7-3610QM
    -RAM 8 GB SDRAM
    -Hard Drive 1.08 TB
-Graphics Coprocessor AMD Radeon HD 7960M

I appreciate a lot any tips or advice you can give, I'll try anything. Also, if there is anyway I can not lose the files in my HDD let me know. Aside from all the oh-so-important files, there is a word document, of which I have no back up of (again, my bad), vital for me and my group to pass a course, and it's due Friday (I'm so mad and depressed right now... Sorry for the wall of words). Thanks in advance for any help I can get guys!
