    nsfryer, I really couldn't get a whole lot of information from the 2 dump files that were provided. What I did find was this

    That is the DirectX Graphics Kernel which comes from Windows Update. Please make sure you have installed all Windows Updates. You can go here and make sure you have the latest version installed How to install the latest version of DirectX

    Thanks for the reply essenbe. Have DX11 installed and all my updates are up to date for all my hardware. DOTA2 didn't crash on me in 2 hours of gaming this evening, so hopefully just a fluke.

    Did you try that DX version I linked to? It makes sure you have the latest version installed, some do and some don't. Also, I would recommend you reinstall your graphics card drivers again, even if they are the latest and install them this way. It will give you an absolute clean install and nothing you don't need, which there is a lot of in the drivers. NVIDIA Drivers - Avoid Problems

    Good, We'll see how you get along like that. please do not run any disk cleanup utilities. If you have any 'system optimizers' type programs installed, please uninstall them. then make sure your system is configured for Small Memory Dumps.
