    Different BSODs - KMode, Driver_IRQL

    Hi,

I had several BSODs in the last weeks. Some while browsing, playing or shutting down/saving my VM.
I hope you can help me. :)

    Thanks in advance,

    Welcome to 7F.

Your nVidia drivers have been flagged.

    Code:
    fffff880`03cc4228  fffff880`042e7908 dxgkrnl!DXGCONTEXT::Render+0xadc
    fffff880`03cc4230 fffff880`06cee2bbUnable to load image nvlddmkm.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvlddmkm.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvlddmkm.sys
     nvlddmkm+0x86f2bb
For testing purposes, download this earlier version from here and follow NVIDIA Drivers - Avoid Problems for the cleanest possible install. Basically the latest drivers aren't agreeing with your system.

After 2 weeks without a Blue screen I thought, that I can install a new Driver. A few minutes ago I had another Blue screen. So it will be most likely the same problem, but I attach the files nevertheless.

OK, this time we have a few drivers showing themselves. They're detailed below.

1: Your nVidia driver has been flagged again.

    Code:
    fffff800`00b9c618 fffff880`066006d9Unable to load image nvlddmkm.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvlddmkm.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvlddmkm.sys
     nvlddmkm+0x1f16d9

    0: kd> lmvm nvlddmkm
    start end module name
    fffff880`0640f000 fffff880`070e3000 nvlddmkm T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: nvlddmkm.sys
        Image path: nvlddmkm.sys
        Image name: nvlddmkm.sys

        Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4
My advice here would be to browse through the available nVidia drivers for your card via their advanced search to find a stable driver for your card. This could involve a fair bit of trial and error and patience.

Remember to follow NVIDIA Drivers - Avoid Problems each and every time you change drivers for the cleanest possible install. If your card keeps flagging up as a problem we'll look at testing it to see if the problem lies with the card itself.

2: Your VirtualBox network driver has been flagged.

    Code:
    fffff800`00b9b218 fffff880`0421423bUnable to load image VBoxNetFlt.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for VBoxNetFlt.sys

    0: kd> lmvm VBoxNetFlt
    start end module name
    fffff880`0420f000 fffff880`0423a000 VBoxNetFlt T (no symbols)
        Loaded symbol image file: VBoxNetFlt.sys
        Image path: VBoxNetFlt.sys

        Timestamp: Tue Jul 15 15:13:54 2014 (53C53722)

Check for any available updates here.

3: Your Realtek Gigabit network driver is being flagged.

    fffff800`00b99fa8 fffff880`0449267cUnable to load image Rt64win7.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for Rt64win7.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for Rt64win7.sys

    0: kd> lmvm Rt64win7

        Timestamp: Tue Jun 12 15:00:29 2012 (4FD74B7D)
        CheckSum: 000B8CFC

As you can see from the timestamp it is old and needs updating. Check for updates here or on the ASUS support page for the P8Z77-M Pro.
