Sorry about that i thought i posted it, No worries :)

Okay so i have had a look for a stable driver for you, and i cant seem to find any drivers for your card (Windows 8.1 64Bit)?

I can find the Windows 7 Version, but i am wondering if thats what you have and that may be causing the problems.

    Here is the windows 7 Version i can find: SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X R9 290 4GB GDDR5 TRI-X OC (UEFI)

Ok I am running 13.9 drivers which I have seen are supposed to be more stable than the recent drivers and rersolve black screen issues.

Running driver verifier on this if that does ot work I'll go back to recent driver and await your response.

Tomorrow I will have new RAM and will also try that to see if this solves the problem.
