    BSOD while watching stream

I have had 2 BSOD's tonight, 1st two ever. I was watching streaming video (football game) online. After about 5-10-15 minutes of being on I got a black screen saying windows was shutting down. After restart same thing happened. After about 5-15 minutes (not sure exact time length) of playing I got the same BSOD.

I will say this though. I had 2 different browsers opened during the BSOD's. I had the game streaming on 1 browser (k-meleon) while I was doing other things on Firefox at the same time. After the two BSOD's I just played the stream itself in the one browser and didn't open the other. It's been around 1.5 hours now and working just fine so it was probably some conflict between 2 processes I guess. But I'd really like to know what the conflict was so I can keep this from happening while I'm doing something really important.

    thanks in advance.

    Thanks for replying Harrie.

Device Manager said my driver was up to date for my device. It shows it as ATI Radeon HD 4200. I went to amd.com and downloaded their "AMD Driver Autodetect" device. It also said "you have the latest driver version for your system". I checked manually on the site and found these 2 things listed:

    ---------------
Catalyst Software Suite 153 MB 13.9 10/15/2013 Download

    Description:
Package contains the following graphics drivers and dependent/required software for the products specified in the current version's official release notes for the 64 bit version of Windows Vista and Windows 7:
    Display Driver ver. 8.97.100.11
    OpenCL(tm) Driver 10.0.937.2
    Catalyst Control Center 2013.0429.2312.39747

    HydraVision Package 25.5 MB 13.1 1/21/2013 Download

    Description:
    Package Includes:
HydraVision for Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows8. Requires that AMD Catalyst Control Center (listed above) be installed. .

    -----------------

It said it worked with the AMD "Radeon HD 4000 Series". But I don't know why it didn't come up with either the windows driver update search or their own AMD Driver Autodetect device. Plus that is a big download. An entire software suite? I don't really like adding unecessary crap to clutter my system but have no knowledge with things like this.

    Thoughts?
    Advice?

    thanks in advance.

Don't know why but I used the i /i (with brackets) command on part of the message and the entire thing came up that way.

Take a look at ATI's website, and see what driver is compatable for you.

Funny. I've been searching and searching and I can't seem to find the ATI website. Everything keeps taking me back to amd.com again.

    You there Harrie?

    Anyone?

Like I said in above post (and post #3) I found 2 things that they list as compatible with the AMD "Radeon HD 4000 Series". But I don't know why it didn't come up with either the windows driver update search or their own AMD Driver Autodetect device.

    thanks in advance.

Harrie it's been over a week and you haven't replied back to me yet.
I just had another bsod and I wasn't doing anything other than listening to an audio file (.mp3) on mpc-hc when the crash happened. No video at all.

Here's the new info if anyone would like to help.
