Who would have thought someone would have a spare 1 TB SSD laying around. But, I hate to tell you, but to properly test your ram will take 2-3 days with 32 GB.

Let me know when you get ready for the clean install. I will give you some tips, plus I want to do a completely clean install with nothing added other than Microsoft Security Essentials. Try that for a day or so, until it either BSOD or you feel like it is safe.

How often are you getting a BSOD?

By the way, you should leave 1GB of virtual memory. I believe a minimum of 800MB is required to write dump files.

Well today this makes my 4th BSOD today. Yesterday about 5 - 6 then i re-did a fresh os install today.

Let me explain a little more. As of 2 day`s ago i was running 2 x 500 gig samsung 840 evo ssd`s in raid 0. I sold those off and switched to a single SSD. seeing as how you can not put ssd`s in rapid mode (and trust me rapid mode makes a huge diffrence if you did not already know that) :) when i had my 2 x 500 gig samsung 840 evo ssd`s in raid 0 i never ever had 1 bsod. and ever since i switched to a single SSD i have been getting nothing but bsod`s. why i am woundering if it might be the actualy SSD but i mean its random. it does not always bsod just randomly. ( mostly when the windows updates are finealizing ) on restart. yesterday it was doing the same thing ( mostly at window update finalizations ) (restart)

So long story short ( 2 x 500 gig samsung 840 evo, Raid 0 ) No BSOD in proble the 6 months or so i was running them in raid 0

1 x 1tb samsung 840 evo ssd alone bsod out the wazooo!!!

i have even tried diffrent sata ports since my hdd has 2 sats 6gb/s ports and both are having the same effect.

I have 2 840 Pro 256 GB, I had one in Rapid mode, and it caused me to have a lot of issues with the computer just acting funky. It didn't cause a BSOD, just acting weird. Once I turned it off, everything was fine. But, I didn't have any corrupted system files. BSODs will cause corrupted files though, so I'm not saying it is the Rapid mode.

rapid mode is great for benchmarks, but it really does little for every day activities. Rapid creates a ram cache, and the benchmarks test the ram cache and not the SSD. I'm just wondering if it would act different if you disabled Rapid and took Magician out of startup.

Sorry i actualy passed out in my chair for a bit. i stoped mem test after 3 passes. 0 error`s

I am going to swap out the ssd`s now and test

Actualy before i do that. For the hell of it i am going to take the SSD out of rapid mode. And test this for a little bit to just see maybe just maybe rapid mode is what is causing my issues.

OK, just let me know. If you get another BSOD just upload the
Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions again. Hopefully you have changed the virtual memory to 1 GB and will have a dump file for me to look at. We need those, as those are what we mainly do the debugging with. Sometimes figuring these things out is a long process. The first thing I want to do is find out if you are having a hardware or software problem. It will tell me which way to proceed. Also be sure you have configured the computer to create Small Memory Dumps instead of Kernel Memory dumps. Small memory dumps are smaller and will keep a record of all the BSODs. Sometimes, looking at several gives us a better picture of the problem.
