BSOD while watching videos online

Hi guys,

Never done this before, so ill try to explain what i can.

I have just built my new PC just over a week ago. All seemed fine until i resumed my normal routine and started watching videos online, if i watch a video on youtube or a livestream on twtich tv after some time i get bsod. Whats worth noting is that this only happens when i dont use computer at all and just watching videos, meaning i can be in bed watching a video and not using the pc and i will get bsod after some time. However if i watch videos and at the same time use the pc, for example playing games or browsing the web i dont get bsod what so ever.

Update: A new BSOD happened when i wasnt at the computer and no programs were running.

This is very unusual, i have tried researching, updating drivers, bios and various other things, but nothing really helped.

Due to limited time i have available to figure this problem out i have been unable to run more serious tests.

I hope someone can read through my dump files and perhaps pinpoint the issue i am having.

Your logs are all 0x124 which means your PC is showing signs of hardware errors, but as with a large amount of 0x124 STOPs the dumps are giving no clues as to what the problem is. Follow the trouble shooting steps below.

If you're overclocking your system, revert back to stock clocks now.

Run Prime95 to stress test your CPU. Hardware - Stress Test With Prime95

   Warning

Your CPU temperatures will rise quickly while under this stress test. Keep a keen eye on them.

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. RAM - Test with Memtest86+

   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Run SeaTools to check the integrity of your HDD. SeaTools for DOS and Windows - How to Use

Run Furmark to stress test your GPU. Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark

   Note

Run Furmark for around 30 minutes.

   Warning

Your GPU temperatures will rise quickly while Furmark is running. Keep a keen eye on them.

No, that will be a standard setting for an aftermarket card.

Your latest BSOD is another STOP 0x124, you definitely have a hardware issue. You'll need to perform the steps detailed above to start to narrow down what the problem actually is. Firstly though can you check your temperatures of your CPU and GPU and report those in your next post.

I use Core Temp to monitor CPU and a GPU Meter widged to monitor graphics card temperature. So far the highest i've seen the CPU you go up to is around 48C and GPU around 68C while playing a game. When idle, CPU is around 30C and GPU around 22C.

In regards to doing those tests above, could you please give me an approximate time i should run each test for?

Edit, just had another bsod when i was away from the PC and nothing was running on it. This type of crash started last night, before it only happened when i was watching videos as stated in my initial post. This makes me think how will i run those tests, in particular during the night as my PC might bsod during the test and then that time will be wasted essentially.
