    BSOD random daily past 4 days

    This is a 2 year old machine that has been running well. I can't think of anything major that is new other than installing Office 2013 about 2 weeks ago. Typically BSOD occurs when I'm away from the machine rather than during specific activity. Not seeing other error messages and no performance issues.

    Help is truly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hi dockramer.

    This is a network related issue.
    Code:
    BugCheck 139, {3, ffffd000208ba440, ffffd000208ba398, 0}

    Probably caused by : NETIO.SYS ( NETIO!NsiGetParameterEx+21c )

    Followup: MachineOwner

    I cannot see any driver is available for your Marvel Yukon network adapter in Motherboards - P6X58D Premium - ASUS

    Attachment 336369

    In this situation I would prefer to use windows 7 with that board.

    But if you think to continue with 8.1, better you post in BSOD Crashes and Debugging - Windows 8 Forums .... the regular 8.1 users might have a better idea.

    Thank you. I didn't realize that there was an 8 forum. Will redirect there.
