BSoD-Minidump not being created, Freezing, Display Driver Crashing
I don't know where to even begin with this, but my laptop is almost unusable now. It started about a month ago with a few freezes each few days, mostly when watching videos online. It went on like that for about 3 weeks, but this last week has been awful.
It's freezing and/or blue screening over 2 dozen times a day. Sometimes it will just completely lock up and give me no choice but hit the power button to restart it. Whenever it does actually blue screen, I get the "A clock interrupt was not received on a second..." message. And it's not creating a mini-dump file for the crashes either. I've set it to do a kernal memory dump, then to do a small memory dump, but either one won't happen. After it blue screens, it just sits there saying:
"Collecting data for crash dump....
Initializing disk for crash dump...."
But the percentage numbers never pop up. It just sits there and I have manually turn the laptop off and back on again, with no crash dump file being created. I've let it sit there up to 15 minutes before with nothing happening. This why i'm not attaching a dump file log, since there isn't one to begin with.
I don't know if this is related, but during this time the display on the screen has been flickering quite a bit when I first turn it on. If I jiggle it around a little, I can normally get it to stop.
Also within the past week i've had a lot of mini-freezes, a black screen, and then it comes back with a message saying "Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernal Mode Driver Version 327.02 stopped responding and has successfully recovered." This happens just a couple times every day, just about. Considering that started right when the real freezing problems began, I thought they might be related, but i'm not sure how.
The internal fans seems to be running a lot more than it used to as well about when all this started. It sounds a lot louder than normal as well.
I've tried running a disc check and a malware bytes scan, both of which came back with nothing. I tried running SFC.EXE /SCANNOW, but it didn't find anything. I have no idea what to try next, since I did some research online and I can't find anyone having the exact same combination of problems I am. I'm trying to avoid having it looked at, as I need it for school, and it's well past it's warranty. Hoping for some additional things to try to keep this alive a little while longer.
