Geting blue screen of death error 0*0000001E

It all started when I was using handbrake to make my video's smaller and that's when I had the blue screen pop up. I still kept using handbrake and the blue screen popped up three times when using handbrake, I uninstalled it but still kept getting the blue screen, I even did a system restore and still got a blue screen what should I do?

    Welcome to the forum ZZ77,

Remove Avast and replace with MSE.

Microsoft Security Essentials is recommended from a strict BSOD perspective, compatibility & stability
compared to other antivirus or internet security software. It is free and lightweight:-

       Warning
Do not start the free trial of Malware Bytes; remember to deselect that option when prompted.

Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:
    • Click on the
    • Type CMD on Search
    • Left click and Run as Administrator
    • Type SFC /scannow

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable!:-
