I was in the living room. The monitor had gone to sleep. My sister and mother got on it to use Excel and look at some Christmas shopping online, and it wouldn't respond to anything. Finally, I forced it to shut down which I hate doing. Booted it back up, and the mouse wouldn't work. Unplugged the mouse for a minute, plugged back in and it started working again. I have to go get ready for church. I might have some time after I get through getting ready.

It shut down normally, but when I booted it back up, it booted up in restart mode. The only reason how I can tell, is because when I restart it, it makes a beep once. That's what it's doing now after it shuts down. Is it supposed to beep on startup? When we first got it, it didn't do that.
