    It is okay Jesse ... Think the problem could have been that you need to Disable Secure Boot ... Let me know how your Computer has been working and we shall take it from there ..

    I haven't turned it on today. It was working fine all day yesterday. I'll turn it on now.

    It's still shutting down normally and is not booting in restart mode.

On a brand new (two weeks max) Win 7 professional x64 system set up by Dell, on which...following a tutorial posted here...I disabled password log in at start up, when the computer is inactive for a while it will either ask for a password to come back or it freezes so that a soft boot is necessary...
