Sorry about the delay, been busy with work and the holiday... This is my second time typing this response (first one got deleted when I hit mark as solved) and I have to go back to work in 10 mins. So I think I've reached stability at 4.2 with 1.365 on the core. Still unsure why I got the black screen with everything at stock, but my games seem to be running a lot smoother now. Before, I had really long load times, sometimes not loading at all and general choppiness.. which is what cause me to believe there was a stability issue. Still unsure why I crashed at stock 3.3 with auto-voltage.. but it seems to be under control.
If I have issues again at 4.2ghz, I'm going to upgrade to i7-5820K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.3GHz, MSI X99S SLI Plus LGA 2011-v3, and Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 for just under $800. I'd get a cheap $20-30 case and $80 750w PSU, sell the 2500k rig in the new case with stock cooler, a spare 500GB hdd, my old 7850, spare antec case fans and current 600w PSU for ~$500, bringing my upgrade cost to around $400.
Thanks again for all your help!
