Hello BenDover, I will try to help you. It is difficult to debug a system with a single dump file, but we'll give it a shot. First thing is be as descriptive as possible in your system specs and list everything in your computer such as PSU and CPU cooler. Manufacturer and model help us to help you. We sometimes need to look up a component and need the necessary info to do that. Also, if you are overclocking anything, please set it back to default levels until we get things straightened out.

The first thing I will tell you is to uninstall any Gigabyte Utilities. They are a confirmed cause of BSODs.

Also, open a elevated command prompt ( click start, type cmd in the search box, right click on the cmd entry and select run as administrator) in the black box that opens, copy/paste sfc /scannow. If you decide to type it, notice the space between the sfc and the /. It is a system file checker which will scan your system files and attempt to correct any missing or corrupt files. What we want are the results to say windows found no integrity violations. If it says files were found but could not be repaired, close the box, reboot and run it again, after opening the administrative command prompt. You may have to reboot and run it three times for it to repair all system files. If it can't repair them after 3 reboots, let us know.

my specs: i5 2500k 3,3GHz stock I have it at 4,4GHz with Zalman Flex + 2x Enermax uctb 120mm
Asrock P67 Pro3
Goodram 1333MHz 4x2GB
Gigabyte G1 GTX 970 I'm running at 1,5GHz with temps not exceeding 72*C in stress, about 10*C cooler on stock settings but rock stable oc, survived hours of testing in FurMark.
XFX Core 550W
case is CoolerMaster 690 II with 4 extra Enermax uctb 120mm (front, 2x top, back)
and primary drive is Samsung 840 Pro (also 3x Samsung F1's 1TB).

I see no such thing in control panel, start menus or CCleaner, I don't and never had Gigabyte motherboard, are you sure I have it installed?

Weirdest thing, I've been using for years and current version has been out for months, nevertheless I removed the app and will contact their support/wait for a new version.

Thanks for the help, currently I'm running sfc first attempt says it failed to repair files, will edit this post after a few attempts.

edit: After 3 attempts it still says it found corrupted files but was unable to fix them.

I need you to set everything to stock levels. Overclocking just confuses things and makes getting you stable that much harder.

OK, thanks. I'm not opposed to overclocking, in fact, I'm one of the more notorious overclockers on the forum. But, I do know, you have to be stable at stock or you will never have a stable overclock.

You still have the issue of corrupted system files. You may not be having problems now, but corrupted system files will eventually get you. I would consider a clean install and start off clean. Those things you uninstalled, still have entries in your registry which does not help. You can call it solved if you would like to, but plan on doing a clean install soon. That is my advice and what I would do. And be careful what you install when you do it. You are more than welcome for any help I have given.

That may be true. But the registry entries are there any way. Custom themes will be messed up by sfc and will cause some problems with it, which is why I don't use them. Now you don't know if it is the customizations or something else.
