BSOD -(caused by optimus?)- when both graphics cards enabled

so I was a happy user with my laptop some problems like a 30 second black screen before login but w/e everything else was fine then i started up my laptop and went to load into a game of LoL and BSOD Nvlddmd.sys error pops up then the error persisted to happen whenever i booted into windows without safe mode... so i went to safe mode and uninstalled all graphics drivers with Display driver uninstaller. intel and nvidia ones and then reinstalled (many versions) of the drivers to no avail the error still persists I am writing this from normal windows which i can access just fine if i disable either the nvidia or the intel graphics card's another issue (that points me towards optimus) is that the VGA toggle that switches from dgpu mode to igpu mode is stuck on orange which i believe is dgpu? (using nvidia card) and the light indicator toggles between the green intel one and the orange nvidia one on start up but as i am writing this is stuck to the orange (high performance indicator) but nvidia card is disabled? I am about to try and play a game and see what happens.... any help is greatly appreciated. i would not like to have to fresh install windows if there is another solution....

tested on binding of Isaac rebirth and LoL everyhting works but in lol on high settings before was 100 FPS now its under 18 so the geforce 555m is disabled as it should be but the orange light indicator remains on I would like to know how to be able to use the better graphics card again though :)
