bsod 1-2 times a day and sometimes windows will not boot back

Hi, i am getting bsod 1 to 2 times a day on a regular basis and there are times that i cannot get windows to boot back when it restarts. It hang up at the four color emblem and just sits there. Today took me 7x trying to get it to fully boot.

I just now disabled the automatic reboot after error option.

attached is my zip file that the option 1 of your bsod instructions made for me.

    thanks

Hello, durango1. I'll see if I can help with this problem. Could I get you to be more specific on your system specs please. Sometimes we need to look up a component and need manufacturer and model number to do that. Please also include your PSU.

You only had 2 dump files. They both list the same things. Please try either updating or deleting the programs/hardware associated with them.

    Code:
    ladfGSRamd64
    start end module name

That is a Texas Instruments USB 3.0 driver. Possibly with an add on card?

That is your graphics card. To update that I will give you some suggestions.

I am going to give you some links that will help you get a good clean install and not have any drivers you don't need that will conflict with other drivers. Download a WHQL driver from https://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-c...ndows-7-a.html . Once you have them downloaded, uninstall you current driver from control panel. next clean up any left over drivers from following this tutorial Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling and select only ATI Display Drivers. After you have done that and rebooted, install the new driver, only select custom install and install only what you have to. Very few people need most of what they include. You do not need the audio/HDMI drivers as you already have that in your Motherboard drivers. Unless there is some reason you need them, the only thing you really need is the Display Driver.

Let us know if you get any better results.

Thanks for your help, i did not realize my headset was that far out of date, i just assumed it was auto updated. Same with my usb drivers. I have updated the logitech and now it is 8.53.0.2 dated 7/9/2014 and i all i could find for the usb drivers is the original here

Original Texas Instruments USB Controller Driver - HP Pavilion HPE h9-1110t Phoenix CTO Desktop PC | HP® Support=

    so i reinstalled it.

The only addon card i have is the ide controller card as i am using an old ide drive for backups.

I had installed the full catalyst controller software but it was conflicting with my displayfusion pro software that i use for my dual monitor setup. So i uninstalled the catalyst manager software but kept the driver so i thought i was ok. AMD is so confusing when you look for drivers, they make it so you dont know what your getting and much of the time you get much more then you want or need, i dont want the manager i just want the driver itself and nothing more lol...

Thanks for your help i will finish with your instructions and see how it goes, much appreciated :)

Thanks for your help, so far so good. I mean it has not gotten the total bsod. It has what i call hickuped 2 x since we last spoke, meaning that ill open something, be it a browser or a program, and all of a sudden the screen goes blank and all i see on both monitors is just the literal background of the monitor(as if the monitor was off). And then about 20-30 sec later it recovers by itself and everything is back.

Both of my monitors are the same age as the system 3 years.

But i can live with this, it has not done anything since late yesterday, nothing today at all. So im happy and i think i can mark this solved. Thanks so much again, i think that fixed 98% of the issue.

    I really appreciate that help..

That is good news. I don't know about your black screens. It is a sign that the drivers have crashed and in a few seconds recovered. It can be a sign that there is a software conflict with your software and the graphics driver or a sign that your card is failing. If it is the card failing, it will most likely become progressively worse until the card completely quits working. That is the usual progression. I would recommend you uninstall the driver fusion software for your monitors for a while just to test and see if that is the problem. If it were me, I would want to know where the problem lies.

yep you may be right, it happened again where i got the black screen and it recovered so i went into displayfusion to see if i could see anything and all of a sudden it started going off on off on black back black back, almost as it if was turning the monitors off and on off and on. So i got out of the program and uninstalled it and rebooted and it was fine.

I think the AMD catalyst and the display fusion software must be conflicting. Display fusion will certainly here about this as it cost me 25 bucks for their software. But first i will wait a few days and see what happens.

just a quick update, seemed to be ok for over a day and then all of a sudden it did it again. The only change i made was that i turned on my screen saver again, mystify from windows, so i turned it back off, so far good.

Also when i got the bsod i was able to write this much down.

System service exception STOP 0x0000003B and then on the next part Ladfgsramd64.sys FFFFF88001430FD1

i did some googling and a couple of tidbits of similar, it seems to still be with logitech headset, but then again i found a windows post that said the headset was a false positive and it actually could be contributed by several other things other than the headset driver, including sleep mode and screen savers or whenever the system changes active status.

So i have no clue, i have a feeling this is going to be a total booger to ever figure out unless i take it to the shop but i have too much sensitve data on here to do that.

    Just wanted to update everyone.

Ladfgsramd64 is the Driver for the Logitech G Series Headset. You may see if updating that helps. If you want to post the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions , I'll take a look at them. A screensaver should not do that. You may have some other program with a conflict with your headset driver. This is the second time we have had that.
