Pcnub, Welcome to the forums, I will try to help you but first I need some information from you. Did you build this PC and how many of the components came from another PC. If you did not build it, can you tell me who did? I also need you to run the BSOD posting Instructions www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html#option2

Most times we need to look up components of your PC for obvious reasons. We need the information to do that, and it should be available in every post to keep us from going to hunt it. we need every component in the PC with manufacturer and model to enable us to look it up and everything attached to the PC. Including the PSU and CPU cooler. That is simple to do if you know them. If you don't there is a link that will help you fill most of them out. Please follow the instructions.
Please fill out your System Specs

       Information
Your System Specs will help us to help you, and doing it in this manner will make them available to all helpers in every post and keep us from hunting for them. We ask that you fill them out in as much detail as possible including Desktop or Laptop, Model number if it is an OEM computer and all components with the Manufacturer and Model number if possible.

If you will go to your last post and click the 'System Specs' in the bottom left of the post, you will find a link to update your system specs. Please fill those out in as much detail as possible, making sure to click save at the bottom of the page. If you would like to know what we would like, you can click 'My System Specs' at the bottom left of this post to see mine. If you do not know what your components are, this will help you accomplish this task. System Info - See Your System Specs

Next I would like you to Open a elevated command prompt ( click start, type cmd in the search box, right click on the cmd entry and select run as administrator) in the black box that opens, copy/paste sfc /scannow. If you decide to type it, notice the space between the sfc and the /. It is a system file checker which will scan your system files and attempt to correct any missing or corrupt files. What we want are the results to say windows found no integrity violations. If it says files were found but could not be repaired, close the box, reboot and run it again, after opening the administrative command prompt. You may have to reboot and run it three times for it to repair all system files. If it can't repair them after 3 reboots, let us know.

Most of your Dump files blame the graphics card:

    Code:
    nvlddmkm
    Code:
    start end module name
    fffff880`10082000 fffff880`10d62000 nvlddmkm T (no symbols) Loaded symbol image file: nvlddmkm.sys Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\nvlddmkm.sys Image name: nvlddmkm.sys Timestamp: Wed Nov 12 14:51:31 2014 (5463C853) CheckSum: 00CA4D59 ImageSize: 00CE0000 Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4

That is your driver for your graphics card. I don't know which card you have. I can suggest you reinstall your drivers. this will tell you how the best way to do it. Most of what the express install, installs is not needed and can cause conflicts with other drivers you already installed. Please try to follow these instructions as closely as you can. They are much easier than they sound and are what I do every time I install Drivers. NVIDIA Drivers - Avoid Problems

There is little else I can help with until I get the required BSOD Posting files, and your System specs in the bottom left of your posts where it says 'My System Specs' You can click mine in the bottom left of this post to see mine and what we are looking for. I also need you to answer the questions I asked above.

Just so you know, if you submit a new post, I will be notified and will respond within 24 hours, most of the time much quicker than that. If you go back and edit a previous post, I will not be notified and will not know you added information. You will most likely not get a response. So, please always submit information in a new post.

Thank you for replying :) I built it myself (have now included system specs), it is the first time i have ever built a PC. Since posting this i downloaded optional updates for windows and suddenly windows is notifying me that i need to install SP1 (I did think the last download was a little fast to be SP1, and after installing it it did not list that i had it installed under My computer > Properties) So i will be installing the update ASAP. I have used the scannow function 2 times previously, ran the third scan now and it still says there are corrupt files which cannot be fixed. When i install SP1 i will also be re installing my graphics card drivers from online this time, as opposed to the disk that came with the card (Which i used previously).

Just so that you are aware. Never use the disk that came with the Graphics card or the one that came with the Motherboard. The drivers on those disks are way out of date. There are updated drivers on the Manufacturer's web site that are the most current usually. Download graphics drivers from Nvidia or AMD depending on which card you have and go to the motherboard web site and download the updated drivers that you will use. Most Motherboards have drivers for a lot of things you will never use. Never install anything that you do not use. I have a desktop and use the Lan driver to connect to the internet. My board also has WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities and drivers, which I do not use. They are useless to me so I don't install them, and if ZI did the motherboard would see the drivers and be looking for the devices that go with them. They are not there.

First thing make sure this is your motherboard GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 (rev. 1.0)

Next, this is where all the downloads are GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 (rev. 1.0)

Right off the bat, uninstall all of Gigabytes Utilities. They are known BSOD causers.

Download your graphics drivers from here Latest NVIDIA ForceWare Video Drivers Windows 7 it is directly from Nvidia.com

Thanks for your reply :) I have installed the graphics card drivers via the disk but have updated them using the GeForce experience program provided by NVIDIA, is it still worth uninstalling the driver & reinstalling from their website? Seeing as mine is already up to date. I've uninstalled any utilities that were provided on the Gigabyte mobo disk, such as realtek because they were conflicting with other drivers (I initially did not have sound) but i am confused when it comes to updating the motherboard, as the link you gave me just provides the same utilities that were on the disk (Newer versions ofc, but some of which are useless). I have heard updating my bios might solve the problem but i have no idea how to do that.

Realtek is usually your Motherboard sound driver or in some cases is the lan driver. When you updated your graphics drivers I hope you used the procedure I provided in post #3. NVIDIA Drivers - Avoid Problems . Graphics drivers have to have all of the previous drivers uninstalled. Yes it is worth updating drivers if there is a newer version. The normal reason they release a newer version is to correct problems in previous versions.

I am very close to telling you to do a clean install. It seems you have a lot of stuff in your OS that does not belong and a lot of parts of programs that shouldn't be there to begin with. I suspect you have Dameon Tools installed also, a known cause of BSODs.

Have just done a reinstall of the drivers, followed the instructions from the thread that you linked, hopefully all problems will be gone now :) Will keep the thread updated if they are not.

I hope everything works out well for you. It rarely does the first try though. But sometimes, I get lucky, or you get lucky I should say
