BSOD: 1000007e, usually when i open Catia's "DSLicMgt" Licence tool

    Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this site and don't post on these vary often as usually most of my queries have already been experienced before and explained when searching hard enough. However, i have failed to get round this issue and the BSOD is a bit beyond me...
Like i said in the title it seems to be usually when using Catia's DSLicMgt licence tool. However, it has happened when performing other small tasks, so not sure how much use that is. also when using Matlab and Simulink it has happened.

I have used the DM Log Collector and attached all the files which were placed on my desktop after running the .exe

if anyone could help i would appreciate it. also i left it running most of the day doing a memtest86+, as i was out of my office and returned to find it showing no problems at all, did this as it was suggested in someones post on a different site. Also i have scanned with malwarebytes, kaspersky which both found no issues and done windows disk error-checking and all came back fine.
also... Windows updates are all upto date.

    Cheers,
    Mike Apicella

    Thank you Yard Dog

Not sure if it is actually related to 'CISCO Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client'
which i need to get onto my work server so i can gain a offline licence to Catia. but it seems to be when i am signed into this VPN. not sure if that helps anyone?

Looks like i should buy a copy of Win 8

Also do people think that Microsoft security essentials is a good enough anti-virus to replace kaspersky?
i have always used Avast and its never served me wrong but looking on here, loads of people have had BSOD's from it, is there a particular reason a piece of software causes a BSOD?

Thanks again for all your help guys, I really appreciate it.

MSE is fine. Try Avast if you like.....it doesn't always cause BSOD's on all systems.

Its extremely difficult to pinpoint why some software cause BSOD's and others don't.....I have seen every anti-virus cause a BSOD here, with the exception of one.....MSE.

Leave the general update for now....just replace Kaspersky and remove Daemon Tools for now. Then lets see how the system behaves.

    Hi Everyone,

sorry about the slightly late response, i am currently working away from my computer each day and keep trying these things in the morning and the evening just before i go home. so i have removed daemon tools and kaspersky and so far the computer is getting less BSOD's, none when its just running, however, still getting the issue when i log in to Cisco followed by Catia's DSLivMgt software?

i Have disabled the following from starting up as without buying a windows 8 copy to make this work i have to downgrade the driver to get it to work on windows 7 (and struggling to do so):
    - AiChargerPlus.sys

thanks for all of your help

    Mike
