After a large number of problems apparently related to my MoBo Northbridge, i decided to swap it for a new MoBo. What do you suggest with my CPU and GPU? I would like something PCI-E 3.0 compatible, and suitable for gaming.
    Thanks!

Sorry, I have no idea. It depends on the motherboard and RAM. Check in the hardware forums here.

Any idea about a PSU testing software? Something that tells me if the Gcard is requesting more power than the PSU can give...
BTW, it seems that if I turn up the Gcard fans speed the system doesn't reboot...so it could really be an card-related heating issue

'm starting to think that it's actually a Video card issue because i recently installed Mass Effect 3, which is a pretty old game but for some reason appears to stress the video card quite much.
I downloaded a Sapphire program which allows you to control options like video card's fans speed. I tried to tune up the fans to 50%, disabling the automatic mode (that keep the fans lower)...and the system didn't crash playing the same point i was playing when it crashed few times. The problem is that the crashes seem to be pretty random.

    Update:
Tried my pc with another PSU (800w 80 plus bronze)...same problem: after 1 hour gaming, same reboot.
