BSOD, and computer crashes when going into sleep mode

About a week ago my computer BSOD'd on me in the middle of the day. Prior to the BSOD I had noticed an unusual amount of slow down on the screen refresh when watching a video.

Since that BSOD, anytime I put my computer into sleep mode, I cannot wake it up. I have to physically restart it. Windows has on all 3 occasions that I put it to sleep saved a minidump file for the crash.

I am not sure if this is related to the BSOD or not, but figured more information is better than less even if it is irrelevant. For the last month or so I have been seeing visual refresh problems with my computer. I would move a file from one folder to another & the folders would not refresh. If i hit f5 on the folder to force a refresh, the change would appear. Please note -- the files were moving. It was simply not showing them move.

I tried all of the suggestions without much success. I have narrowed the scope of the issue a little bit in testing.

The issue is when the computer goes into Sleep Mode. It appears the computer is not going all the way into Sleep Mode. What was interesting is the computer went into Sleep Mode once after I rebooted but before I logged in & I was able to wake it up properly. So it is only after I have logged in that the problem is occuring.

    Detailed items:

    - I installed the new NetLink Driver.
    - I ran drivesweeper & removed drivers for my old AMD video card which is no longer used.
    - I tried a complete clean boot & then put the computer into sleep mode after the boot & still experienced the problem.
    - I ran the SFC /scannow option suggested & it started there were no problems.
    - I ran Kaspersky TDSSKiller which found no issues.
    - I ran ESET online scanner which also found no problems.
    - Attached is the Speccy report. Everything appears in the normal range to me.
    - I ran a hard drive check on my computer & it came back with no problems as well.

    Any further suggestions?

Yes, re-run DM Log Collector, and upload the new ZIP file it creates.

Can you update the driver to Broadcom NetLink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet from Ethernet NIC NetLink Driver Downloads | Broadcom as said in #2?

    ajs9 said:

It is not the fact. The installed driver is of 2009, whereas there are newer drivers in Broadcom. No other narrowing down is needed right now.

After updating the driver, put the computer to sleep for a couple of times. Wake it up. Let us know for any further BSOD.
