BSOD every time I turn off my computer

Same thing when I attempt to restart it. It also gives me the BSOD every now and then (about once a week) upon start up. It runs pretty fine other than that, so I'm not sure what other info to give.

Please check in TaskManager.....is there a file called conhost.exe active? Id so, right-click on it and display the Properties of that file. Post a screen capture image of that here please.

It is running; but when I right-click, then click properties, nothing happens. No timer or anything. Still nothing when I click Open File Location

Please scan your system with the ESET on-line scanner, and report back any items removed/placed in quarantine:

Are you still getting BSOD's now? I'll get a security person to have a look at this in more detail for you.

Download DDS from one of these links:
    DDS.com
    DDS.pif

    • Disable any script blocking protection
    • Double click the dds icon to run the tool.
    • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
      1. DDS.txt
      2. Attach.txt <--- will be minimized in the task tray
    • Save both reports to your desktop.

Include the contents of both logs in your next post.
The scan will instruct you to post Attach.txt as an attachment.
