BSOD a few minutes after start up, error 0x000000F4

I'll start off by saying I'm an IT person myself so feel free to be technical.

After I start my computer it boots normal I get into Windows everything appears to be running fine until after a few minutes things freeze. Sometimes I get a BSOD other times it restarts and fails to boot into windows.
When I get the BSOD I get a STOP error code of 0x000000F4. I dual boot with Ubuntu 14.10 and it freeze there too. That is what is leading me to believe this is a hardware issue. On the Windows side I was getting some error messages about not being able to place into memory when trying to start applications. I ran a memory test through Windows and it said everything was fine. I can't get through a full dskchk either offline or online.

My first drive is a 120 GB SanDisk SSD it has both Windows and Ubuntu on it. My second drive is a 500 GB Seagate and has programs and anything I could offload from the SSD.

Any help would be very much appreciated. I am at a loss as for the cause of all this.

I ran sfc just now. I said it found errors and corrected them, but the problem is still persisting. Now when it crashes it starts the BIOS goes to a hardware monitor screen then I get "error: file not found. grub rescuse> " which allows me to enter commands to the grub bootloader. And the BIOS is a little slow in loading the hardware, but if I completely power off then boot back in the whole process is started over.
