Cheers thats what Im thinking.

I have no idea what driver at this stage until someone reads that .dmp

PC wont pause on any error screen even after telling it to.

Seems I need to plug my webcam in and get my b00bs out to get someone here to do the .dmp for me ;-)

Nothing too much to go on as you can see. Try uploading another one when it happens. Or perhaps another will be able to read. I dunno.

This is a STOP 0x124 error. It's usually caused by hardware failure or compatibility issues. As you had no issues with Vista, this is most likely either a new problem or a compatbility issue.

Please run the Windows 7 compatibility advisor and post the results with your next post. The advisor is free here:

I did run that when I was out with his PC and it came up fine.

Does 7 stress the hardware more than vista?

So there is no driver in the .dmp in particular?

I think it must be some compatibilty issue as it only came up the moment we switched from vista to 7.

If I cant work it out I may have to roll it back to vista!

BSOD seems to be a Crossfire Bug

hi there,

i checked your minidump and it say´s kernal or hal error.
Seems to be a hardware error not exactly pointet at.. the 0x124 only means that the internal prozessor test detected a hardware malfunction.
But at my guess it seems to be a bus related error.
Do you have crossfire activated? What kind of gfx is in your machine?

Webup, out of curiosity, did you follow my suggestion and analyze the motherboard for defects, visually?

I've seen problems similar to this, but not exactly like this. Keyboard is recognized and works in BIOS. All other drives are disconnected except the DVD and the Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD. I reset fail-safe defaults in the G1.Assassin, enabled AHCI, set CD as first boot device, HDD as second....

Getting random reboots without BSOD (Win7 x64)
I've been getting random reboots and I have no idea why this is happening. It just restarts without getting a BSOD or any other error message. Today, it rebooted at 5:07 AM and at 12:47 PM. At both of these times, I wasn't using the computer, it was just sitting there. At 5:07 AM notable open...

Win7 x64 random reboots
Over the past 3 days my PC has automatically rebooted at least 5 times. It has also frozen twice (with the screen filled with garbage - a gazillion repeats of a small section of the last active window, I think). No BSOD. I see no log entries reporting anything at the time of failure, but on...
