Windows 7: New Win7 install random reboots...

HELP! New Win7 install on friends PC random reboots...

Got asked to help a friends father upgrade a desktop from Vista Business to Windows Home Premium.
AMD X2 machine micro ATX setup.

Installation crashed at about 67% first time around and looked online and this seems to be a popular error.

So I choose boot from disk, in Win 7 setup I then deleted the current partition and made a new one and formatted it so everything is fresh.
Now we have Win7 loading onto a fresh formatted disk.

Installation goes fine and once rebooted Windows even grabs all the drivers it says it needs.
Device manager says no hardware is missing drivers.

Problem is that it randomly just turns off!

Bluescreen message not visible, basically just goes black screen then reboots.

I enabled the setting to pause before rebooting so I can see what the fault is but it doesnt pause on any bluescreen.

Safemode seems to run fine so Im assuming its a driver issue somewhere but I cant work out which one???

I havent installed any facotory motherboard drivers as when you run the factory disc it doesnt support Win7 and besides windows reports all drivers and hardware is running fine.
Unlike XP where if you havent manually installed the driver then things wont run win7 seemsto pull in everything it needs.

Any ideas?
Where can I see what is causing the crash????

I have attached a .doc witht he hardware specs in it as well.

win 7 x64

Had a similar problem with my installation. I tracked it down to sleep mode. I set the system to switch off the monitor but not go into sleep mode and have not had a crash since (2 weeks so far - computer is on for 24 hours a day).

Going by your description, it is either one of the following most likely:

A) A really bad or mismatched driver.
B) Faulty motherboard with blown, leaky capacitors.
C) Failing or failed power supply unable to deliver regulated power. Or over stressed power supply.

If I had to guess, based on "randomly just turns off", motherboard is the problem here.

Check the capacitors for leaky brown substance and/or for rounded tops when they should be flat.

The thing is the problem only started after installing Windows 7.

When Vista was on there it was fine and wouldnt crash.

Im really hoping someone can interpret the .dmp file I uploaded.

Win7 install won't allow Y key @ "Boot from CD/DVD?" but C+A+D reboots
I've seen problems similar to this, but not exactly like this. Keyboard is recognized and works in BIOS. All other drives are disconnected except the DVD and the Samsung 850 Pro 256GB SSD. I reset fail-safe defaults in the G1.Assassin, enabled AHCI, set CD as first boot device, HDD as second....

Getting random reboots without BSOD (Win7 x64)
I've been getting random reboots and I have no idea why this is happening. It just restarts without getting a BSOD or any other error message. Today, it rebooted at 5:07 AM and at 12:47 PM. At both of these times, I wasn't using the computer, it was just sitting there. At 5:07 AM notable open...

Win7 x64 random reboots
Over the past 3 days my PC has automatically rebooted at least 5 times. It has also frozen twice (with the screen filled with garbage - a gazillion repeats of a small section of the last active window, I think). No BSOD. I see no log entries reporting anything at the time of failure, but on...
