BSODs when playing games or watching youtube

Games seem to be running fine, but unfortunately I just got another BSOD browsing youtube. Here's the log file and I really appreciate the help.

You went back quite a way on the versions,

There's quite a few in between what you had and this one, try one of the other versions from 2014 and see how it goes.

Ok, I just uninstalled the old driver and installed the 335.23 driver which dates from March 10, 2014. Will see how it works.

If this driver also crashes could it mean that there might be something wrong with the graphics card or motherboard? Or might it mean that there could be conflict between my anti-virus and the driver? Thank you for your help.

You're welcome.

The bug check is a D1 which is driver related, if you keep having problems we may have to check your card. I don't see your AV mentioned in the dumps at all.

It's just trial and error right now.

Well, I'm afraid there was another BSOD. I'm going to give 337.88 which was released on 05-26-2014 and is the second to last driver available for the card a try. So far, 296.10 was by far the most stable driver I tried, it took about 4 days for it to experience a crash. If the problem is the card then I was planning on getting a new one soon anyway, so I guess the problem could be worse.

Is there anything that I might be doing wrong when installing the drivers? So far, I'm going to Control Panel to uninstall PhysX and then the Graphics Driver, reboot into safe mode, delete the Nvidia folder, run DDU, reboot normally, the system then automatically installs a driver even though I have the Internet disconnected and prompts me to reboot again, and then I install the new driver.

I like your driver install method, you're doing all the right stuff when dealing with a troublesome driver.

Like I was saying, it's trial and error on the drivers. There's also the 2013 versions in between what you have already tried, you can go ahead with the one you mentioned.

Hopefully one of them settles in for you.

I got another BSOD although the computer is definitely far more stable than it was before I posted here.

I'll start looking for a couple more drivers since it's probably the video driver, but I'll post the log file just in case. Thanks again, btw, a BSOD every 2-4 days is a major improvement over every 2-4 hours which I used to have to experience.

Hello Phoenix. I was having this problem on this new computer I just built.
It became brain-racking. I'm pretty good at comp. repair and tried everything over a few mths.
It would work great for awhile and start again. Only in videos and gaming it would occur.
Then when trying it without my video card it would work for like a week and start right back.
Right when I thought I found the culprit.

What the problem winded up being is that I did not install my mobo chipset drivers right after I installed my network driver.

Instead, I went ahead and let windows install updates without properly thinking lol. Then afterwards
I installed my mobo chipset drivers. This will most of the time cause the conflicts about video and gaming
-as we both have experienced.

Anyways, during a new installation do not let windows auto-install updates during a fresh installation
click later/decline etc.

So I reinstalled win7 home premium and done the above first; and now it runs smooth as butter(going on 3 mths now). :)

Hello, again. My internet was down for a couple of days so I couldn't reply earlier. I recently got a new video card (I needed to upgrade anyway and found a good deal), but my BSOD problems have continued. I also ran into a couple new problems today, first my Windows Live Mail froze several times when I tried to use it and I had a problem with Windows Update...when it was updating it hanged up (not freeze, I could use my browser and other computer programs) when trying to apply an update to Microsoft Visual C++ (I think, the update might've said Visual Studios but I don't have that) which forced me to do a cold reboot after an hour passed with no progress. I got a Bad Pool Header BSOD afterwards but was able to get all the updates eventually. I'll attach the log. I might've done something wrong with installing the video drivers so I'll retry that in the meanwhile. Again, I appreciate the help.

Please let me know if there's a chance that something might've went wrong with the motherboard or system files, my computer caused alot of trouble for me today and it's hard for me to believe it just drivers. I'll also be busy for the rest of the week until Saturday so I don't know if I'll be able to reply before then, hope you don't mind and sorry for the inconvenience.

Edit: Also, I have a question regarding driver installation. Are you supposed to have the anti-virus and firewall disabled while installing the new drivers? I just remembered that was recommended a few years ago but I don't know if that's still the case. So far, I've been keeping my AV and firewall enabled the whole time.
