Overclocked computer blue screens while running non-intensive game?
Hey guys I was playing DOTA 2 and my computer blue screened.
Now the thing is that strange is that dota 2 is not a very intensive game.... Not at all. I run Day-Z fine without any blue screens or anything. And that game is much more taxing on the CPU than Dota is.
I got a blue screen in the middle of the game and when I rebooted the Bcode was 101. Which I googled and people said that is a CPU fault? I was wondering if it would be caused by my overclock, which is a modest 3.3ghz to 4.4 . I do have a good cooling set up, custom loop water cooled using only distilled water and biocide. Oversized radiator and the best CPU waterblock on the market.. etc.
I've ran a battery of stress tests (AIDA64 & intelburntest) and I've passed all of them. The temps are pretty low when running these tests and the CPU Vcore multiplier is well below "safe" limits.
So I'm kinda confused.. Why would my PC blue screen to a CPU fault running such an easy to run game like Dota2?
Thanks for any help.
