    Woody, I'm not completely awake yet. You'll have to give me a while on this one.

    Code:
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *
    *                        Bugcheck Analysis                                    *
    *                                                                             *
    *******************************************************************************
    CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION (109)
    This bugcheck is generated when the kernel detects that critical kernel code or
    data have been corrupted. There are generally three causes for a corruption:
    1) A driver has inadvertently or deliberately modified critical kernel code
     or data. See Kernel patch protection for x64-based operating systems
    2) A developer attempted to set a normal kernel breakpoint using a kernel
     debugger that was not attached when the system was booted. Normal breakpoints,
     "bp", can only be set if the debugger is attached at boot time. Hardware
     breakpoints, "ba", can be set at any time.
    3) A hardware corruption occurred, e.g. failing RAM holding kernel code or data.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: a3a039d896051624, Reserved
    Arg2: 0000000000000000, Reserved
    Arg3: 591308667d93d18b, Failure type dependent information
    Arg4: 0000000000000101, Type of corrupted region, can be
     0 : A generic data region
     1 : Modification of a function or .pdata
     2 : A processor IDT
     3 : A processor GDT
     4 : Type 1 process list corruption
     5 : Type 2 process list corruption
     6 : Debug routine modification
     7 : Critical MSR modification

    Woody, please run a complete scan with your anti virus. After that please run a scan with these online anti virus scanners.

    Scan with Kaspersky TDSSKiller:
    Anti-rootkit utility TDSSKiller
    Anti-rootkit utility TDSSKiller
    ESET online scanner:
    Free Virus Scan | Online Virus Scanner from ESET
    Free Online Virus Scanner | ESET

    Also please open an elevated command prompt ( click start, type cmd in the search box, right click on the cmd entry and select run as administrator) in the black box that opens, copy/paste sfc /scannow. If you decide to type it, notice the space between the sfc and the /. It is a system file checker which will scan your system files and attempt to correct any missing or corrupt files. What we want are the results to say windows found no integrity violations. If it says files were found but could not be repaired, close the box, reboot and run it again, after opening the administrative command prompt. You may have to reboot and run it three times for it to repair all system files. If it can't repair them after 3 reboots, let us know.

    Scanned with all three, no threats found. Ironically had another BSOD during the Security Essentials scan and had to restart it. Sfc /scannow says there were no integrity violations.

    OK, Let's try this. But, create a Restore Point before you do it. An absolute must! The link to how is below. If you don't create a restore point, you may be reinstalling. Sort driver by provider. enable all drivers not provided by Microsoft.

       Warning
    Be sure to create a System Restore point before proceeding further System Restore Point - Create

    Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
    Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.
       Information

    What is Driver Verifier:
    It puts stress on the drivers, and tries to make the faulty driver crash the computer. It is designed this way, to attempt to trap the offending driver.

    What you will notice:
    It will tend to make the computer rather slow and sluggish because the drivers are being stressed.
       Warning

    Before enabling DV, make sure you have created a system restore point before enabling Driver Verifier. make a System Restore Point manually before enabling DV.

       Tip

    Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.

    Made the restore point and have booted to desktop okay with Verifier active. I'll post back any dump files from here on if I get a crash.

    Good. That's the purpose of it, to make the computer BSOD and hopefully catch the offending driver. Use the PC any way you want and keep verifier on for 24 hours of actual use.

    No Blue Screens at all since yesterday morning, before Driver Verifier was activated. The PC has been on for about 25 hours, although I wasn't using it over night.

    Try letting it run just a little longer. It's a good chance at catching the bad guy. So, let it run a little longer, if you don't mind. then you can disable it. Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

    I left it on until about thirty minutes ago, and disabled it. No crashes in that time. Five minutes later (after a reboot), crashed but no BSOD. The screen just glitched and froze. There's nothing in the system logs about it, the crash anyway. But after rebooting I've got this for the first time: Data error on device. Device: \Device\RaidPort0 Model: WDC WD5000AAKS-00UU3A0 Firmware Version: 01.0 Serial Number: WD-WCAYU6358545 Port: 1 And: The device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block. I have never seen those before in my event viewer.
