BSOD at almost random intervals 0x00000124
Hi, I've been having problems with my computer for a couple weeks now.
It started after I've updated to w10, a couple days in while gaming I had a shutdown, once booted I started seeing a myrriad of BSODs, asking around tech savvy friends they had told me the cause could be a fauly HDD or PSU (both were functioning poorly to begin with), I have since replaced both and installed windows 7 64 bits, the PC worked fine for a couple days until it started freezing, and lately giving me BSODS with the code in the thread title (0x00000124), I've googled this and seems to be mainly a hardware error.
However I have no clue which piece of hardware could be causing this, I have tried a couple troubleshooting options but my knowledge is rather limited in this.
So far I have tried :
1.Reinstalling AMD video drivers cleanly, used their removal tool and then reinstalled, issue persisted.
2.Checking for updated drivers with driver booster.
3.Stress testing CPU as suggested by a friend, the results so far have been that the CPU does not overheat (stays around the 52-55C mark), however once I stop the test the PC will freeze within the next minute.
I've also checked the event viewer for windows and have found this error logged at about the same time the crashes/BSOD happen.
A fatal hardware error has occurred.
Component: AMD Northbridge
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: CRC Error
Processor ID: 0
The details view of this entry contains further information.
Says something about event ID 20 too.
I have attached the logs created with the program from these forums too (I think, if I did press everything in order).
Thank you in advance for any assistance.
