    BSOD on Start Up

    Hello Peeps,

I was wondering if I could get some help with an issue I had.

I built my computer about 1 and half month ago and has been running fine even since with no BSOD's. Today I started up my PC and before getting to the log on screen a blue screen came up with loads of codes and it restarted before I could see what was written.

I want to know why this happened. After starting up the PC there was a message on the desktop saying 'this computer has recovered from an unexpected error', and it gave me some codes with the path to a dump file.

Here is the information it gave me....

    'Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 2057

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 1e
    BCP1: FFFFFFFFC0000005
    BCP2: FFFFFFFFFF867260
    BCP3: 0000000000000000
    BCP4: 00000000FFC50000
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
    C:\Windows\Minidump\013115-9672-01.dmp
    C:\Users\Wah\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-22152-0.sysdata.xml'

    My System...
    Windows 7 64 Bit
    AMD FX-8320 (stock) CPU
    Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P Motherboard
    2x4 8GB HyperX Fury RAM
    Sapphire AMD R9 280 Dual-X GPU
Antec 620W High Current Gamer Modular PSU

I'm not very technically minded with this stuff, I would appreciate it if someone could help me with why I got this BSOD?

    Thanks

Did you miss the big block of text at the top of the page when you started the BSOD thread? Its not possible to attempt to help you until you provide some information.

    1. Download the DM Log Collector application to your desktop by clicking the link below

    DM Log Collector.exe

    2. Run it by double-clicking the icon on your desktop, and follow the prompts.
    3. Locate the .ZIP file that is created on your desktop, and upload it here in your next reply.

    4. See : System Info - See Your System Specs

Don't bump your threads - its a sign of impatience. Just be grateful that you will eventually get free help with your problem.
