    Bsod driver power failure

    Hi,

My system has been experiencing BSOD issues off late. The Stop Code is 9F and it says its a DRIVER POWER FAILURE. I have attached the minidump file (.rar) with this post. Help with debugging would be great. Thanks in advance.

But while we wait for those it does look like a graphics driver problem and a NVidia one at that - I am no expert at this yet but that is what is coming up.

    Hi,

I have updated system specs as requested. I also tried uninstalling the Nvidia driver and reinstalling it. Doesnt seem to have worked. BSOD recurred quite a few times since the last 2 days. Let me know if anything else is needed.

I'm just curious if you missed the huge notice at the top of the page when making your original post?

@ICIT2LOL - Anything on the BSOD error yet? It's been recurring since. The last BSOD was a KERNEL DATA INPAGE ERROR with Stop Code 7a

Which part of the information at the top of the page did you not understand when you originally created this thread?

Well according to what I can find this is a hard drive problem and Microsoft recommend a chkdsk so run this and see what comes up in safe mode is probably best

I understand it is difficult for you being a hjunior member and me not being that experienced yet but just let's keep plugging on:)
