BSOD probably due to one/some/all Firefox/Flash Player/Laptop Speakers
Hi! This is the second time i got a BSOD in the past week. The first time was when i was listening to some music on Youtube (browser: Firefox) and there were other work-related programs running as well. My laptop speakers aren't great and sometimes, when i play them at full volume, the sound gets stuck at one point and the computer hangs. So that's what happened the first time and i thought they were due to my speakers, as it has happened before. This time was a similar situation, apart from the fact that i still hadn't started working yet, so Firefox was the only program running (apart from background ones like CCleaner, MS Security Essentials, etc.). I was listening to music and browsing, but had stopped the music as i was on the phone. So there was no speaker output, yet first FF hanged (though there were not many active tabs) and then i got a BSOD. So to me, Firefox and Flash Player is the common element, but i am not sure. Please see if you can help out. Laptop: Sony VAIO VGN-CS35GN (more than 5 years old, so out-of-warranty). Thanks SKG.
