BSOD 0x0000000d1 with screenshot and DMP Files

    I've been getting BSOD at random times over the last 3 weeks. Here's a screenshot (attached are the DMP files)

    It looks like your wireless driver is getting flagged as the cause,

    There does appear to be a newer one here,

    Although with Laptops it's usually recommended to stay with what's on the OEM site.

    Thank you very much or your help! Once I started having the blue screen problems I ran a program called Driver Booster 2, which updated numerous drivers, but the problems persisted. When you asked if I updated the driver myself, I may have when I ran that program, but I don't remember updating any drivers prior to having the bsod issues. I just ran driver booster 2 again and it found a bluetooth usb module with qalcomm atheros communications as the vendor. (That's different than the driver causing the issue, correct?) Anyway would you recommend that I try loading the latest wirless driver at the link you sent? (The one at the top of the page, correct?) If the problems persist, then try going back to oem?

    You're welcome.

    My first bit of advice would be to get rid of Driver Booster, those programs are unreliable and quite often do more harm than good.

    I can't be positive about what driver you just updated without a new upload of info.

    You can try that driver I linked, the one at the top is the most recent. Then the OEM if your problems persist.

    Did your laptop come from the UK? I couldn't find a US reference from ACER for the V5-571.

    Thanks again. I got my laptop in the good ole USA at Staples in Southern California. I tried updating the driver and I hope I did things correctly as I'm not super technically proficient. After downloading I opened with my unzip software and it seemed to do something with the files. Should I be good to go?

    That's interesting that I had to switch to UK to find that model number, anyway back to the driver.

    Unfortunately there is a little more work than that with that download, you would need to follow these instructions,

    Driver Install - Device Manager

    I'm inclined to have you wait until a problem arises before doing anything else though.

    If it crashes again just run the tool again and we'll take it from there.

    Since it sounds like you haven't had a problem yet let's wait until you do before doing anything.

    My head is starting to hurt after going through those driver loading instructions :) OK, I won't mess with the driver install unless I have another issue with a crash showing the driver being the culprit. I'll proceed with caution with driver booster - Should I play with the link to the driver update software that you provided? Thanks again for all your assistance and help.

    Ok, I had another crash yesterday, attached is the new info. So, should I just proceed now with updating the wireless driver to 10.0.0.297?

    A few days ago I believe I successfully updated the wireless driver. Today I had another bsod. Attached are the new files. Suggestions?
