    Was there a reason you didn't follow the posting guidelines in the huge notice at the top of the page?

    It is the Marvell 91xx SATA 6G Controller that is causing the issue.
    Code:
    BugCheck 3D, {fffff800040cbf60, 0, 0, fffff8800113d78e}

    *** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for mv91xx.sys
    *** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for mv91xx.sys
    Probably caused by : mv91xx.sys ( mv91xx+3178e )

    Followup: MachineOwner
    ---------
    And the driver is too old.
    Code:
        Image name: mv91xx.sys
        Timestamp:        Fri Aug 27 15:19:22 2010 (4C778A22)
    There is an update to this driver in Motherboards - P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 - ASUS (of 2010/12/29, not any latest one). So it might not be helpful there. Plus, Marvel does not have a very good reputation as SATA controller.

    It would be the best for you if you apply the SSD to a non-marvel SATA port. There are others to choose from.
    Let us know the result.

    I've updated the drivers and I also changed ports, so far so good. Will update if I get another blue screen / mark as solved if I don't get a blue screen within 24 hours! Thanks for the help.
