    BSOD playing games, error 00000xf4

Games will have muffled static sound as it crashes to blue screen. Checkdisk doesn't detect anything.

Will occasionally blue screen while idle but crashes normally happen when playing a game.

Stop 0xF4s are generally storage storage related issues. So test your HDD using Seatools and nothing else. Take both the short generic and the long generic tests. Let us know the results, elaborately.

Also, as you experienced game related glitches, Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark. Take a screenshot of the furmark window before closing it. Upload the screenshot for us. Let us know if you experienced any crashes and/or artifacts during the test.

The next step will depend on these results.

    7A confirms a disc error.

Do the test with Seatools for Windows.

There is a caution for AHCI mode. See it here: SeaTools for DOS and Windows - How to Use

You need it, s yours is AHCI.
