BSOD 0x116 & 0x7E

Let's just see what happens with this. If you have another BSOD just upload the BSOD posting instructions again. I would just like to try to take one problem at a time.

Tarzy, I am sure that Avast Can cause it. I am sure the dump files blamed it, but I am not sure that is the real reason. The reason Avast would block some web sites is because those web sites are known Virus sites and known to be unsafe. There is a reason they do what they do. Overriding your anti virus or running without one is not very wise.

Your graphics drivers need to be from the HP web site. OEM Manufacturers often customize their drivers to work the way they built the machine to work. You need to download the latest graphics driver from HP, Uninstall your current drivers, clean out leftover parts of them(Drivers - Clean Left over Files after Uninstalling) then install the new drivers from HP.
