BSOD pretty often, can't figure out why. Please help :)

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for reading! I built my computer more than 3 years ago and haven't many issues. For the past few months I've been getting BSOD in increasing frequency. I didn't change anything that I know of and everything I thought it could be has been a dead end. I'm coming here to the experts for help!

    Thanks,
    BetaCase

Let me know if you need more info!

sptd.sys is probably the most common cause of BSOD's - its used by many virtual CDROM mounting software suites.

Completely uninstall Alcohol120% from your system, reboot and use system as normal. Let us know how it goes.

    Ok I uninstalled Alcohol 120%.

I'm guessing I have to wait a few days and report back... unless something goes wrong sooner.

    Thanks again!

Please follow this tutorial carefully - run 5 passes of the Standard test only, taking a screen capture of the result and temperatures, and post back.
