BSOD on boot, boots ok on the second time

    Hi guys,

My PC recently started BSOD on boot, I then restart and it will boot fine if a little sluggish.
I'm not sure what to do I've tried uninstalling the video driver as some other internet threads suggest that that might be the issue, but still it persists.
I have attached the files from dm log collector.

Basic info for PC Intel i5 processor
    AMD Radeon HD 5800 series.
    12GB Ram

Any help would be much appreciated.

All the three dump files you have uploaded all show the same bugcheck code 0x116, this is specifically a gfx related issue and all dumps are blaming ATI drivers
First thing to check would be temperatures of the card to make sure its not overheating, reinstalling drivers or upgrading/rolling back to different driver would be next

Heres some more info on things to look at/things to try STOP 0x116: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR troubleshooting

Ok I have updated drivers though i had to install catalyst control center. It worked fine for a day then died again when I booted the first time today.
How do I go about checking graphics card temperatures before the PC has booted?

It won't be a temperature issue if it's booting second time round. For peace of mind remove the side of your case and check the fans on your GPU when you power up to ensure they're spinning.

Can you tell us what version of the ATI driver you have installed?
