    2 BSODs 0x0000003b & 0x00000050

    Hey everyone,

I got a new computer last week and so far I've had 2 random BSODs. Each time the audio playing began to stutter and then a second or so later a blue screen appeared. After the reboot both times my external wi-fi dongle (netgear wna-3100) stopped working and I had to unplug it and replug it in.

I updated all drivers relating to networking (the dongle and the realtek driver) after the first BSOD but that didn't seem to solve the problem.

    Thanks in advance.

Any ideas? The first BSOD happened when I was using Skype and the second happened when I was watching a video (using MPC-HC).

After the 2nd BSOD I noticed that the cable connecting the USB 3 port on the motherboard to the case wasn't connected properly. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.

3 BSODs now, the latest one happened after I woke the computer up from sleep.

I think I solved it. The first problem was that the case fan wasn't even running since it was blocked by wires so the computer kept overheating. The problems relating to sleep were all caused by Intel RST as after uninstalling it, I haven't had a BSOD from waking the computer up.
