    BSOD - driver_power_state_failure

    I built this system a few years ago and it's been flawless until the past couple of weeks when I started to encounter this error. It seems completely random; it will crash and reset whether I am multi-tasking or even if it's just idle with nothing else running but background stuff. I reformatted about 2 weeks ago and it just started doing it again yesterday.

    Any help is greatly appreciated; thanks.

    Both dumps blame iusb3hub.sys which is an intel usb3 driver - Driver Reference Table - iusb3hub.sys

    Use the driver update utility and see if you can get a newer driver for it https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ .

    Code:
    ...........................................
    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *

    *                                                                             *
    *******************************************************************************

    Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

    Thanks. I did find an uninstalled USB controller in device manager, but couldn't seem to get any drivers to install so that it would function properly. For now I've disabled it and the problem hasn't reoccurred yet.
